Emily Eggert, LMSW, LMAC-T is a licensed master social worker and EMDR therapist. She received her Master’s in Social Work, with a Clinical Social Work Specialization, from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Kansas State University.

As a Mental Health Professional, Emily thrives with a strengths-based approach when working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. This efficient approach allows her to fully identify and utilize her clients’ strengths to resolve difficult situations, as well as providing her clients with the tools necessary to work through issues after therapy. Emily currently works with a wide variety of client issues and holds specializations in trauma and addictions. She emphasizes creating a safe and open environment for her clients in a trauma-informed, solution-focused, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and sex-positive focus.

Emily is skilled in a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and properly determines which modality to use with clients based on their specific needs and wishes. She primarily utilizes Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic integration, and mindfulness techniques.
