Heather Bloomcamp, LPC
Heather Bloomcamp is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Iowa State University and completed her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the University of Saint Mary. She is also a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and conducts trainings for community members, healthcare providers, and corporations in the Kansas City metro area. Heather is actively involved with the Olathe School District providing on site therapy for students, assisting with suicide prevention training, and serving on advisory boards.
Heather has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. When working with clients, she strives to provide a non-judgmental space tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Utilizing mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strength-Based Therapy, Heather works with the client to create an environment where skills and strengths are identified, developed, and integrated into daily life.
Heather is interested in helping those dealing with depression, anxiety, personality concerns, interpersonal conflict, school performance concerns, legal issues, and major life transitions.
