Melissa Morgan, LSCSW

Melissa Morgan has been a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker since 2001, providing focused therapy for adolescents, adults and families. Ms. Morgan’s expertise includes outpatient therapy and crisis services: addressing areas ranging from parenting dilemmas; depression and anxiety treatment; behavior and anger management; and abuse and trauma recovery. In addition, she has used her knowledge to train law enforcement and other professionals in mental health issues, presented parenting courses, and is the Field Liaison for Saint Louis University Master of Social Work Program at Avila University. Her approach to treatment is grounded in empowerment— helping clients to know that they can build a balanced, authentic, and peaceful life despite challenging circumstances. 

Ms. Morgan holds a Master’s of Social Work from University of Kansas. She lives in the Kansas City metro with her husband and two children.
