Maggie Biberstein, LMLP
Maggie joined Responsive Centers in 2021. She recently earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis. She completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at UIndy, as well, in 2018. Maggie received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
Maggie currently has a temporary license as a Masters-level psychologist (TLMLP). She completed her pre-doctoral internship at a community mental health center in Topeka, KS. During this year-long placement, and throughout her other clinical experiences, Maggie has focused on working with children and adolescents, and their families. She provides therapy to those experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, ADHD, and behavioral issues, among other concerns. She also has experience working with children in foster care and their foster families. Maggie uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, though she has specialized experience with play therapy. Maggie also completes psychological assessments with individuals of all ages. This has included testing regarding learning, cognitive, developmental, personality, mood, and anxiety concerns.
Maggie is a Kansas native and was thrilled to return to the Sunflower State in 2020. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time outside, trying new restaurants, talking with friends and family, and cuddling with her cat. Photo coming soon! 🙂
