Jan Ediger brings valuable behavioral health expertise in both outpatient and hospital settings, along with an emphasis on implementation and partner satisfaction. As Director of Operations, Jan invests her time into both the people and the processes at Responsive Centers. She believes the key element to her career success is personal, as she places the highest priority on development and fostering of trusted relationships.
Though much of her work is “behind the scenes,” Jan thrives in supporting clinicians, clients, and staff, playing a crucial role in driving positive change. In her role, Jan works closely with Responsive Centers’ front office staff, intake staff, billing and collections, and all partners and vendors who contribute to the practice.
After attending DeAnza College in Cupertino, CA, and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS, Jan has held management positions for more than 20 years in business operations, health information, data management, and client care, with a focus on improving daily processes with technology and resources.
With deep knowledge of The Joint Commission standards, she has led her teams through multiple accreditation surveys, with primary roles in compliance, education and preparation. Jan also was a key part of a team that in recent years opened a new Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health hospital, a very proud career moment for a healthcare leader who is passionate about strengthening her community.
