Heeseong Ha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Addition Counselor (LCAC) in the State of Kansas, and currently pursing clinical supervision for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). She has earned two Master’s degrees – Counseling and Christian Education. She is fluent in both
English and Korean.

Heeseong has experience working with patients of all ages providing individual, group, and family therapy in outpatient mental healthcare, residential treatment facilities, psychiatric hospital, and a private practice. She is experienced in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) to help her patients achieve their short-term and long-term goals.

She embraces active listening, compassion, and acceptance so patients can feel heard and valued. Her passion is to reach out to people of all communities who are in need of therapy, especially those in Korean community (한국지역사회) who speak Korean as their primary language. It is this passion that motivated her to pursue a counseling degree after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Christian Education. She is excited to bring her experience, skills, and knowledge to Responsive Centers for Psychology and Learning.
