Grace Peterson, LMLP-T

Grace Peterson is a licensed master’s-level psychologist trained in conducting thorough intake evaluations and psychological assessments along with providing therapy services to individuals and groups. Grace enjoys helping clients navigate challenges with therapeutic techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), such as cognitive restructuring and guided exercises.

Grace gained extensive clinical training during her practicum with KU Counseling and Psychological Services. She holds a master’s degree in psychology from Washburn University and completed a master’s thesis, chaired by Dr. Tucker Jones, exploring the association between past and current bullying experiences and perceptions of bullies across different age groups. Grace earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas, where she was an Honors student.

In addition, Grace has served as a graduate teaching assistant at Washburn University, mentoring first-year graduate students in psychological assessment and counseling skills, and as a research assistant at the University of Arkansas’ Language Processing Lab.
