Desiree Hanson, LCPC
Desiree completed her MS in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas in 2019 and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in both the state of Kansas and Michigan. Having worked with high risk youth in residential facilities, she has experience treating a wide range of needs including, assisting parents in PACE and Trust-Based Relational Interventions, which is utilized in families facing difficulties connecting and communicating. Desiree has accrued particular experience working with adults at a maximum security prison and assisting in emergency/crisis sessions for the community of Oxford following the local high school shooting. Shifting to a more preventative stance, Desiree has spent recent years working in private practice to impact local communities and increase wellbeing.
