Alicia Polk, LPC

Alicia Polk is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in treating insomnia, chronic pain, and dissociative identity disorder. Alicia also works with ADHD, Asperger’s, stress, boundaries, procrastination, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and grief. Alicia is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, and is double board certified.

Alicia brings both clinical and real-life experience to her work with ADHD and Asperger’s (autism spectrum disorder). Alicia and her younger daughter both have ADHD while her husband and older daughter are both on the Spectrum. Alicia is allied with the LGBTQ+ community and has a trans daughter.

Alicia has a client-centered approach to therapy and matches her therapeutic approach to client needs. Alicia favors cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused therapy.
